Trip Overview


The Cohanzick Zoo strives to e a sanctuary for all types of animals. They began as a home for displaced deer to their now expanded list of tigers, turtles, and everything in between that comes to them ensuring a high level of care. The zoo is a resource to youth to learn more about animals, local ecosystems, and wildlife. 

About Our Trip To The Zoo


 We will arrive by 11:00 am. There are no places on-site to purchase food. Bring a bagged lunch, we can eat a picnic table if the weather allows. Do not feed animals.


*Please dress appropriately for the weather as we will be outside.

Plan to be at the zoo for approximately 2 - 2.5 hours.

Additonal Information

  • No pets allowed except for service animals.
  • No running in front of animal exhibits.
  • Free parking is available adjacent to the zoo entrance.
  • No bikes, skateboards, or scooters.
  • The entire zoo is wheelchair and stroller accessible, but you will have to bring your own.
